Under the leadership of production manager Remco Schouten, part of the Event Services team, the team delivers more than just technology. They take care of the entire event production process: from room layout to sanitary facilities, and from creative styling to show direction.

Heuvelman Event Services bridges the gap between idea and execution

Remco is clear: “Event Services is everything you need to deliver an event. Where Heuvelman traditionally joined as an AV supplier once the technical setup was required, Heuvelman Event Services is involved much earlier in the process.”

In practice, the team takes on the role of executive producer, and often goes a step further. “For example, we use AI-generated renders and 3D scans during the quotation phase to quickly give clients a visual impression of the concept. This not only makes the process more efficient, but also more creative.”

One point of contact, all disciplines in-house

What makes Event Services unique is that everything happens under one roof. Technical expertise, creative design and project-based production all come together within the same team.
“Clients only need one point of contact,” says Remco. “That keeps things clear, ensures speed and consistency. We think along about everything, from stage height and colour schemes to content styling and flooring.”

This integrated approach is clearly reflected in the many events and conferences where Heuvelman has been a trusted partner for years. “We often start early by mapping out the venue. We conduct location analyses, develop layout plans and align the complete picture.”

From tennis rackets to toilet blocks: creativity is everywhere

Heuvelman Event Services goes further than you might expect. “For the KNLTB’s 100-year anniversary conference, we built a giant tennis racket as a stage screen, complete with oversized tennis balls on either side. It had little to do with technology, but everything to do with impact. Those are the details visitors talk about for months.”

Practical challenges are embraced just as readily. “If a venue has no restrooms, we simply place twenty. If it’s an empty hall, we design and build something that works, both visually and functionally. And if needed, we even temporarily modify buildings, for example by creating additional emergency exits or reconfiguring spaces.”

According to Remco, it’s not rocket science it’s commitment. “We’re fully involved in every project. Changes can happen right up to the last moment, and we’re there. Everything has to be right, and above all, it has to feel right.”
