
For over ten years, Heuvelman has been a partner of the Dutch Railways. With innovative screens and technologies, we provide an optimal customer journey in OV-Services and Tickets stores across the country.
Today's NS traveler wants quick and easy answers about their journey and tickets. NS aims to assist travelers and local carriers as much as possible with information and sales. The OV-Services and Tickets stores at the larger stations in the Netherlands are equipped with new screens with narrowcasting software. There are standalone screens, but also video walls and touch screens installed. In addition to the standing screens, there are self-service tables equipped with touch screens.
The equipment is continuously monitored via Heuvelman Connect. This detects malfunctions, attempts to automatically resolve them, and sends a notification to the Service Center if necessary. There, staff immediately assess whether additional action is required.
The management of the content on the various screens of the narrowcasting system takes place remotely through a Content Management System (CMS). This system has been developed in-house by Heuvelman.
NS Meeting Rooms of the Future
Heuvelman has developed and installed meeting rooms of the future for NS. In over 280 rooms, acoustic wall furniture has been installed, equipped with screens and audio equipment. The systems are monitored and supported remotely by Heuvelman.
