The cycling event La Vuelta Holanda with Green Caravan
The cycling race 'the Tour of Spain' was in the Netherlands in August 2022 with three stages under the name La Vuelta Holanda. With international top riders, a team presentation, an extensive activation program, and three beautiful stages through Utrecht and Brabant, a unique event. Nearly a million cycling fans visited the event.
As an official partner of La Vuelta Holanda, Heuvelman Sound & Vision B.V. provided the audiovisual support to make it a great success. We provided image and sound at the team presentation in the city center of Utrecht and during the three stages at the start and finish locations in Utrecht, Den Bosch, and Breda.

22 outdoor LED screens
Along the course, we placed 22 large outdoor LED screens where the stages could be followed live by the thousands of visitors. We also participated in the world premiere of The Green Caravan, a sustainable alternative to the traditional cycling caravan. After each stage, we also provided the audiovisual technology for the Green Caravan finish area.
As a partner of the Utrecht Science Park, Heuvelman provided the audio and visual technology for guests in the Botanical Garden of the park. We also did this for the 'Fieste de la Vuelta', an initiative by students of the cycling association USWV De Domrenner. This was a free festival during the second stage of La Vuelta Holanda.
