Sometimes a project comes along that perfectly reflects what you stand for as an organisation. When Jaarbeurs started looking for a partner to replace the complete evacuation system across its various halls, it quickly became clear that this would be a complex project, with very limited time available between the many events.

Together with the Maintenance & Operations team, Heuvelman was able to advise and deliver a future-proof solution. We installed a combined public address and voice alarm system that automatically switches from background music to alarm signals and clear evacuation messages in emergency situations.

The installation fully complies with NEN 2654 and NEN 2575 standards and is equipped with continuous line monitoring, ensuring that any faults are detected immediately and forwarded to the service centre. With the maintenance contract in place, the long-term reliability of the system—including 8 racks, 200 amplifier channels and 1,600 loudspeakers distributed throughout the various halls—is guaranteed.

The project required tight planning, flexibility and close cooperation. Thanks to all parties involved, it has been successfully completed.
