All lecture halls, meeting rooms and public spaces at Hogeschool Utrecht are equipped with audiovisual facilities. Heuvelman is responsible for the management, maintenance and phased replacement of these systems. Each year, outdated displays and audio installations are replaced with modern solutions that meet the current demands of education.

In addition to regular maintenance, larger updates are carried out periodically in lecture halls and meeting rooms. Systems are renewed or expanded with new functionalities such as interactive touchscreens, wireless presentation options and improved audio and image quality. This ensures that lecturers and students continue to benefit from reliable and user-friendly technology that supports learning and collaboration.

Sustainability plays an increasingly important role within the partnership. New installations are more energy efficient, have a longer lifespan and are designed using reusable materials. Through smart monitoring and management, disruptions are minimised and equipment can be used more efficiently.

Equipment that remains in good condition after replacement is given a second life through Stichting Corantijn. In this way, Hogeschool Utrecht and Heuvelman jointly support education and healthcare projects in Suriname. The partnership therefore contributes not only to a modern learning environment in the Netherlands, but also to social impact beyond its borders.
