New Microsoft Netherlands Building

Microsoft Netherlands has the mission to enable the Netherlands to become an example of digital success in the world. Microsoft realized that, to contribute to the success of their customers, they needed to adapt.

Focus on the Customer and More Efficiency

The office building of Microsoft Netherlands was already very advanced and included multiple scrum areas, cozy corners, and phone rooms. The design of the new Microsoft Customer Hub reflects their cultural aspiration: they offer social, collaboration, and focus spaces and always make their customers their number one priority. Microsoft has increased the space available for customers from 31% to 72%. Additionally, because they want to be accessible to everyone, they share their office with Spaces and actively invite start-ups, scale-ups, and corporates to become part of the Microsoft community. Microsoft offers all organizations and partners the opportunity to experience what digital transformation can do for their organization. This ranges from culture to strategy and architecture design sessions.

The entire office building was restyled. Microsoft has invested in the latest technology for the building. We were responsible for all audiovisual solutions.

Special Eye-Catcher

Microsoft wanted a special element in their building that would attract all attention, which largely determines the atmosphere of the building. Heuvelman delivered three enormous LED displays. One of these is no less than 10 meters wide. This 4K LED display is located in the Arena, where meetings take place. When you enter this space, you are immediately amazed. Another LED display is placed above the bar. Here, employees can relax and meet with colleagues and business relations. And finally, there is an LED screen placed at the entrance, so the wow-factor starts immediately upon entry. The end result is particularly beautiful, and the screens provide an important addition to the whole.

Heuvelman was also responsible for the general AV, such as the sound system and digital whiteboards. Additionally, we delivered multiple screens that improve collaboration and online conferencing. It was a special project to work on. All in all, we facilitated technology for more than a hundred rooms in the building.
