A gala in the renowned Huis ter Duin

On Friday, October 29, 2021, the 18th Krajicek Foundation Gala took place at Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk.
Guests could enjoy a fully catered evening out with a delicious three-course menu by Ben van den Ark and his kitchen brigade, great live performances, and unique auction items.

Richard Krajicek Anniversary

It's almost unbelievable, but it's been 25 years since Richard Krajicek became the first (and still only) Dutchman to win Wimbledon. Naturally, this special anniversary was commemorated during the gala.
This year's presentation was hosted by Beau van Erven Dorens, and the auction was led by Junior Zegger.
The Krajicek Foundation Gala is known for its relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, and the gala where everyone hits the dance floor.

Partner

Heuvelman has been a partner of the Krajicek Foundation for many years. This year, we provided visuals, lighting, and sound for the approximately 450 attendees. This included large projection screens along the stage and various screens in the hall so that everyone had a good view of the great live performances and unique auction items.
Our colleagues managed a 3-camera setup for the artists' performances and lit the stage and the hall with tables atmospherically.
On the LED dance floor, everyone was dancing!

Looking back

We look back on a particularly successful evening with beautiful performances by Kinderen voor Kinderen, Frank Wilson & Petra Scheurs, Samantha Steenwijk, and jeWelste, a spectacular auction, and a special live connection with Daphne Deckers and Richard Krajicek at home.

In particular, we would like to thank Emma and Alec Deckers for excellently representing their parents. Notary Nicole van Smaalen and auctioneer Junior Zegger for guiding the auction. And Beau van Erven Dorens for the fantastic presentation.

With the generous proceeds of €446,717, they can continue their activities and projects in the coming year, giving even more children and young people the chance to become the best version of themselves through sports.
