Hologram technology offers an innovative way to impress. It creates a three-dimensional image of a product, object, or even a person, making it appear almost tangible. Holograms come in various shapes and sizes and are increasingly used for presentations, events, and product launches. The latest development allows for an interactive AI “person” as a hologram, with whom you can converse and who can display dynamic animations.
How it works
Although a hologram appears tangible, it is actually a flat image. By viewing it from different angles, the effect of a three-dimensional image emerges. The illusion is only visible from the correct position, requiring experience and expertise to create a convincing effect.
Creating a hologram is technically complex. A laser is projected onto a screen or mirror; part of the beam is reflected toward a lens, which refracts the light onto a photographic plate. The other part of the laser passes through the screen or mirror and is reflected in the same way. Due to the timing differences of the laser beams on the plate, a hologram is formed, which our brains interpret as a three-dimensional image.
What you can do with it
Holograms offer many creative possibilities, especially when an object or person cannot be physically present. With the new AI holograms, visitors can interact with a virtual person who answers questions, provides explanations, or displays animations. This enables information to be shared in an impressive and engaging way. Holograms can be projected in small or large formats, depending on the desired effect.
