Provincial House South Holland

High-Quality LED and Meeting Solution

Heuvelman has completely relieved the Province House of South Holland in developing and installing audiovisual equipment in the renovated building. An innovative concept has been developed for an LED video wall in the Event Room. Additionally, the complete AV setup of the renovated States Hall and Committee Room has been realized.

In collaboration with Smartmetals, a custom-made steel frame was built for the 25-meter-long LED video wall. This video wall consists of no less than 207 panels that seamlessly connect to each other. To make the design extra challenging, there was a desire for the panels to also be integrated into the doorway.

The video wall is truly impressive with the right content. Our Content Design department has carefully selected and produced visual material. It's not just any video, but visual content of excellent quality, with matching sound, to provide visitors with an overwhelming entrance.

Together with MVI and Notubiz, the States Hall is equipped with a completely new meeting system, including discussion posts, LED screens, cameras, and speakers. All equipment is easily operated via AMX, ensuring user-friendly and efficient operation.

The Committee Room is set up in a similar way to the States Hall. Other meeting rooms and halls are also equipped with the latest equipment, making them ready for a fresh start.

An additional challenge was the implementation of all AV solutions in the large provincial network. Almost all connections run via IP and must function smoothly between the different rooms. Integrating these solutions into an IT network with thousands of users and various applications was a complex but successful task.

On September 14, 2022, the official opening took place. The building was reopened by none other than King Willem-Alexander. As the audiovisual partner, Heuvelman had the honor of facilitating the opening, including a livestream and light show.
