Vacancy

As an Installation Technician at Heuvelman, you are responsible for carrying out a wide range of installations within the audiovisual sector. These assignments can vary from small meeting systems to large conferences, theatres or impressive LED walls. You will travel throughout the country and may sometimes be scheduled for overnight stays. This makes the work very varied, and no two days are the same. You make sure that your installations are service oriented, well organized and accessible for maintenance and troubleshooting.

In this role, your core tasks consist of installing and maintaining AV installations. This means that you may sometimes spend some time travelling, unload the required equipment on location and carry out the installation on site, including breaks. After the installation, you tidy up the materials used and travel back home. For this position, knowledge of tools and materials, such as a cordless drill, hammer drill, angle grinder and jigsaw, is highly desirable.

You will be working in the Field Service team, which consists of around eight employees, together with Work Preparation, a Team Leader and a Manager. Collaboration and good communication are important, both internally and externally. You usually work as part of a team, but you may also occasionally be scheduled to work alone.

This is the job for you if you enjoy working with technology, AV installations and your hands, and if you like the challenge of working with deadlines, occasional high workload and varying working days.
