Vacancy

As a Service Technician at Heuvelman, you are responsible for the maintenance, management and optimisation of audiovisual systems at our clients’ locations. You carry out scheduled maintenance, identify potential issues and ensure that all equipment continues to operate smoothly.

During your visits, you inform clients about the status of their systems, advise them on potential improvements and answer any questions they may have. When a technical issue occurs, you are the person who quickly diagnoses and resolves the problem, minimising disruption for the client. In addition to working on location, you participate in our on call service and support your colleagues at the office with your technical expertise.

An important part of your role is documenting your findings and reporting on the work you have carried out. You accurately record all relevant information in our ERP system, ensuring that internal teams remain well informed. You identify recurring technical issues and suggest solutions to further improve our service. You also continue to develop your knowledge through training courses and certifications, keeping you up to date with the latest technologies and innovations in the audiovisual industry.

You will become part of a professional team within our Service department. Together with your colleagues, you work on high quality solutions and share your knowledge and experience to help each other grow. There is plenty of room for collaboration, feedback and personal development.

If you enjoy working at different locations, have a passion for technology and like the challenge of adapting to changing schedules and irregular working hours, this could be the job for you.

Practical example

A client calls to report that there is no sound coming from their audiovisual system. What do you do?

You get in the car and head straight to the client’s location to investigate the issue. Together with the client, you discuss the situation and start identifying the cause. You check the system step by step and discover that a faulty HDMI cable is causing the problem. You replace it on site and the sound is restored.

You then create a service report documenting the work you have carried out. You briefly discuss the completed work with the client and ask them to sign the report.
