Modern design for the historically rich Jongerius Complex
The historically rich Jongerius Complex reopened the Villa in 2013 with a new purpose as a meeting and congress location. To prepare the Jongerius Office for the new destination, an audiovisual transformation was needed. Heuvelman took the lead and managed to bring the location up to standard in four days in the audiovisual field.
A new life for the Jongerius Complex
The historically rich Jongerius Complex reopened the Villa in 2013 with a new purpose. The listed building was now owned by the Foundation comprising Jongerius grandchildren and they had a clear goal: to preserve and restore the total complex consisting of the Villa, the garden and the former office of Jan Jongerius.
The national monument was given a new purpose as a meeting and conference location. The restored Jongerius Office also opened in 2018 and the location is used for meetings, congresses and events for the business market. But also for course days, relationship events and dinners for smaller groups. As an audiovisual partner, Heuvelman has been closely involved in the restoration of the complex.
To get the Jongerius Office up to speed for its new purpose, an audiovisual transformation was required. Heuvelman took the lead and managed to bring the location up to standard in four days in the audiovisual field.
The Jongerius Office has a large room for 150 people. This space was equipped with a multifunctional projection system with control panel. Audio and speech amplification are also facilitated here.
A mobile, high-quality touchscreen was placed in front of the Texaco room on the first floor. Microphones and speakers have been installed to add more power to presentations.
In order to give Jongerius guests a warm welcome, a screen was placed at the entrance in the central hall with the particularly large stained glass window.
In this way we have been able to provide the historic building with high-quality technical equipment without affecting the look and feel of the national monument. Villa Jongerius is ready for a new future!
