New construction at the Uithof
At the Uithof in Utrecht work has been underway for some time on a completely new building for the Hogeschool Utrecht. In order to facilitate the students as optimally as possible, it was important for this new building to meet the highest requirements. The building was fully furnished with a beautiful interior, space was made for special classrooms such as a radio studio and camera studio and the building had to be equipped with the most innovative audiovisual equipment.
Start of the new school year
The new building was opened in September 2018. The brand new and equipped students entered the building and will receive a good education here in the coming years. The building is furnished and equipped with facilities so that the students will not lack anything during their student days.
The educational building is intended for students who are following a course in the themes of communication & media, economics & management or ICT. The property is easily accessible via public transport and of course enough space has been created for hundreds of bicycles.
Audiovisual interpretation of the spaces
Every room had to be equipped with the most innovative audiovisual resources. Heuvelman has been able to provide all audiovisual content in collaboration with various parties.
Heuvelman has hung screens in the rooms. Plates are built around the screens so that the wiring is not damaged. Furthermore, whiteboards have been supplied, large projection screens have been hung in the lecture halls and Heuvelman has been able to provide the screens, trusses and lighting in the recording studio.
