In the bustling heart of the global city of Rotterdam stands the striking city icon, WTC Rotterdam. Here, the (inter)national business community comes together, and you will find a range of facilities that provide WTC Rotterdam tenants with all conveniences: Various shops, the business restaurant The Hub, Brasserie Jules, the WTC Art Gallery, Vondelgym, and the Postillon hotel and Convention Centre.

WTC Rotterdam rents out high-quality office spaces, flexible workspaces, and state-of-the-art meeting rooms. This iconic national monument is currently being completely revitalized and redesigned for even more quality and comfort for tenants and visitors.

Eyecatcher over 13 meters wide

Heuvelman and Prisma IT have been selected as audiovisual specialists to equip the building with multiple LED screens. The Main Hall is equipped with a 4K Narrowcasting screen that is no less than 13.5 meters wide. This eyecatcher provides an experience for tenants and visitors without detracting from the iconic architecture of the building.

The screen offers current public transport information, news, wayfinding, and other WTC-related messages. The screen is comparable in size to 16 50-inch televisions and consists of 252 separate LED video panels.

Masterplan

WTC Rotterdam is still working on the realization of the Masterplan. In addition to the restoration and preservation of original architectural elements, World Trade Center Rotterdam focuses on sustainability.

Energy-saving measures, material choices, and ecological adjustments make the building ready for the future and the workplace for everyone who values sustainability.
For the choice of LED screens, this was also an important focus. Not only in the Main Hall but also for the wayfinding and other digital signage screens present in the building.
The LED screens installed are energy-efficient and sustainable.

Why sustainable? These LED screens use much less power than 'regular' screens, they are also easy to install and have a relatively simple maintenance process.

Audiovisual implementation

Throughout the building, various sustainable LED screens can now be found. Digital wayfinding has been installed at the elevator lobbies, and above the escalators on the first floor, two stretch monitors over 4 meters wide have been mounted.

In addition to the current, existing implementation, the entrance to the parking garage will soon be equipped with an LED screen. Information about WTC, welcoming guests, and information about the number of available parking spaces are possibilities to display on these LED screens. The new Art Gallery will also be equipped with information screens.
