Ready for the future!

In 2022, Heuvelman was once again able to assist the KNLTB (Royal Dutch Lawn Tennis Association) with audiovisual support. From Sunday, February 13 to Thursday, February 17, directors, members, tennis and padel teachers came together 'online' during the KNLTB Digital Congress Week, live from the Heuvelman Studios!
This unique week focused on the theme 'ready for the future'.

Spectacular 'drone opening'

To open the week, an intro film was made with the help of a drone. The first ball for this was hit by Jacco Eltingh on the tennis court of the National Tennis Center (NTC) in Amstelveen.
Eltingh achieved great success in doubles together with Paul Haarhuis. Together they were part of the 'Golden Generation'. They are also called the best Dutch tennis duo of all time.

Our Content & Design department beautifully edited the video. In addition, they invested their time in the widescreen projection in the studio, editing all video and audio recordings used during the event, and the aftermovie.

National Tennis Center

Since August 2019, the KNLTB office has been located at the NTC in Amstelveen. The NTC and the office exude tennis, creating an inspiring work environment. Bringing together top tennis and grassroots sports at the NTC is an important step for the future of tennis in the Netherlands. The complex should grow into the beating heart; one central location with all the facilities top tennis players need to connect and stay connected with the world top. Also a place full of tennis experience where top tennis (able-bodied and disabled) and grassroots tennis come together. Every tennis player or tennis fan in the Netherlands wants to visit it (at least once); for training, a match, an event, a meeting, or a championship.
Heuvelman has equipped the entire NTC and the office with modern audiovisual equipment.

KNLTB Congress Week

Almost 2,500 teachers and directors kicked off the new tennis and padel season last week in 25 sessions with over 18 hours of content. Whether it was an international top coach we brought in digitally who delved deeper into volleys or a year calendar for the youth, everything was covered. Plenty of material to roll out again in the tennis and padel landscape.

For five people at the table and four preview screens for the various presentations - incoming video callers and countdown clock for a tight program.
The live images were streamed to the KNLTB's Vimeo platform.
In addition, the large projection screen in the background was, of course, filled with the most beautiful tennis and padel content.

A small detour to TeamNL

The TeamNL Davis Cup team will face Canada in the Qualifiers. This encounter will take place on Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Sportcampus Zuiderpark in The Hague. The winner of the duel qualifies directly for the Davis Cup Finals, while the loser will play a match in World Group I in September 2022. Our colleagues from Heuvelman are also allowed to provide the technology here. The technology consists of providing audio for the spectators during the matches, a large modular LED screen of 600x350 cm, a lighting installation for, among other things, a show element, various digital TV screens for, among other things, the VIP areas. TeamNL room, Team Canada room, and screens for the line judges.
