Internal Communication
In recent years, we have seen with our clients that the use of interactive displays mainly pertained to meeting rooms and office spaces. Nowadays, digital signage, also known as narrowcasting, is used to support overall communication within companies.
We provide digital signage for our clients. But especially in this time of corona and the studios at our headquarters where clients are received daily, it also requires good wayfinding and communication from us. Therefore, new modern and advanced narrowcasting screens have been installed throughout our building. There is a screen in every office, and screens can also be found at the entrance stairs, entry, and in our studios.
Through these strategic locations, we can personally welcome our guests and also inform them of the corona guidelines in our studio. It also serves our wayfinding. This way, we guide our visitors in the right direction within our building.
Information can be determined per location, time, and screen. The displayed information is easy to manage remotely so that the content is always quickly up-to-date in this time. We do this with our extensive online Content Management System: Heuvelman Solutions Portal (HMSL).
And when we can all return to the office, we can better inform our colleagues about beautiful client cases we are proud of, (important) announcements, and news items.
Narrowcasting as Social Safety
Narrowcasting can also be used for social safety within companies. The challenge here lies in integrating the various network components into a solution that is efficient and easy to manage. To tackle this challenge, we work together with NDS. Together with NDS, we provide a PADS4 narrowcasting platform that is linked to video analysis cameras that can monitor people's temperatures on-site and measure distances between people. The information from these measurements can be converted into relevant and understandable communication and signage within organizations.
Signage
If the present cameras detect a violation of the predefined rules, PADS4 can display warning messages on the screens and follow the appropriate steps that should take place afterward. Think of displaying messages that the maximum number of people in a room has been reached or sending a message to the control room so that staff can take action. Additionally, in busy environments such as event locations, screen communication can be used to display dynamic signage based on the number of people in a room. By offering alternative routes, unsafe situations can be prevented.
