New Microsoft Netherlands bulding
Microsoft Netherlands has the mission to enable the Netherlands to become an example of digital success in the world. Microsoft realised that in order to contribute to the success of their customers, they needed to adapt.
Focus on the customer and greater efficiency
The office building of Microsoft Netherlands was already very advanced and contained several scrum places, cosy corners and telephone spaces. The design of the new Microsoft Customer Hub reflects their cultural aspiration: they offer social, collaboration and focus spaces and always make their customers their number one priority. Microsoft has increased the space available to customers from 31% to 72%. In addition, because they want to be accessible to everyone, they share their office with Spaces and actively invite start-ups, scale-ups and corporates to become part of the Microsoft community. Microsoft offers all organisations and partners the opportunity to experience what digital transformation can do for their organisation. This varies from culture, to strategy and architecture design sessions.
The entire office building was restyled. Microsoft has invested in the latest technology for the building. We were responsible for all audiovisual solutions.
Microsoft wanted a special element in their building that would attract all the attention, which largely determines the atmosphere of the building. Heuvelman delivered three huge LED displays. One of these is no less than 10 metres wide. This 4K LED display is located in the Arena, where meetings are held. When you enter this space you are immediately surprised. Another LED display is placed above the bar. Employees can relax here and meet with colleagues and business relations. And finally, an LED screen has been placed at the entrance, so that the wow factor begins immediately on arrival. The end result is particularly beautiful and the screens provide an important addition to the whole.
Heuvelman was also responsible for the general AV, such as the sound system and digital whiteboards. In addition, we supplied multiple screens that improve collaboration and online conferencing. It was a special project to work on. All in all, we have facilitated technology for more than a hundred spaces in the building.
